Kimmy Paluch

Managing Partner, Beta Boom

Kimmy Paluch is the founder and Managing Partner of Beta Boom, a venture academy that invests in traditionally overlooked founders, such as women and founders of color, who are commonly underrepresented in the majority of startup ecosystems and underserved by both VC and accelerator models. Her academy invests extraordinary amounts of human capital by providing founders with a team of product, marketing, sales and startup coaches that work alongside the startups daily to jump-start execution and develop fundamentally strong founders and companies.

Prior to Beta Boom, Kimmy founded a Silicon Valley innovation firm where she defined the strategic vision and design of award-winning interactive products for high-profile clients including TiVo, LeapFrog and HubSpot.  She also developed and led the whitespace gaming division for LeapFrog Inc. and served as Director of Digital Marketing for a 3D printing toy startup.

Currently, Kimmy sits on the executive leadership board for VentureCapital.org, Womenpreneurs and UnVentures. She is also a part of the leadership circle for The Conservation Lands Foundation.

Kimmy earned her B.A. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College and MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
